Shipping General

Goods are dispatched by DPD or delivered by our local delivery service.

Salt orders are usually delivered within 7 working days and are often sooner depending upon the area the driver is working at any given time. However on rare occasions due to circumstance beyond our control such as supplier shortage or adverse weather conditions such as snow or freezing temperatures delivery times may be longer than 7 working days.

Handling: Salt is hand delivered by us directly from the pallet, not by courier and will be received by the customer in good condition - if you are not 100% happy with the condition of your salt please contact us without delay. 

Salt delivery is to the doorstep or concierge only but may be delivered to apartments at the individual drivers discretion if a lift is available. Where a lift is not available salt will be left in the entrance lobby for collection by the customer.

Drop Location: Upon delivery the driver will ring the doorbell or knock or telephone. Where the customer is not present at the address the order will be left in what the driver deems to be a suitable location such as; on the doorstep; down the side alley; behind recycling bins; and such like.

Restricted Access - If a delivery address is 'access restricted' by a gate code or similar the customer must provide the code to us within the 'Add delivery instructions' option situated below the 'customer phone number field' during checkout, or alternatively a telephone number for access. If the driver is unable to access the property a re-delivery charge of 10% or the order value may apply.

Water softeners and other online products. TwinTec S4 is normally processed the same day if ordered before 6pm and delivered to addresses within the M25 is by our own vans either the day after or the day after that. On rare occasions this timeframe can be longer due to circumstances beyond our control such as delays in production. TwinTec S4 for delivery outside of the M25 is via DPD and will be dispatched the following day after order with the goods usually reaching the customer the day after. So for example if the order is placed on Monday you would normally receive the goods on Wednesday. On occasion this can be longer where for example the courier experiences a logistics issue. TwinTec XL2 normally has a lead time of 5 -7 working days before dispatch and is received by the customer on the same basis as S4, either delivered by our vans or by DPD depending upon location. Orders placed for delivery within the M25 will be contacted by phone by our delivery manager to schedule delivery. Orders placed outside M25 will be contacted by DPD.
