The TwinTec twin cylinder design was revolutionary to water softeners when it was introduced by the device's inventor Harvey Bowden.
The TwinTec has the highly advanced technology of two cylinders, unlike the industry standard of just one. Each cylinder is able to work independently.
The twin cylinders provide a constant supply of softened water. Whilst one cylinder is regenerating the other is still working to soften your water. This means the TwinTec S4 provides you with an uninterrupted supply of softened water, no matter how much water your family uses.

Non-Electric, Water Efficient and Simple Running
The TwinTec S4 has been designed to be powered solely by your water supply, using only the incoming water flow and pressure to power its regeneration.
It is, therefore, run on eco-friendly sustainable energy, without the need for a power outlet. Power cuts are of no concern.
The TwinTec has no requirement for an electrical power supply located nearby, making installation and choice of location easier.
There are no timers, computers or manual adjustments to be concerned with. The TwinTec runs itself. No dials to set, buttons to press or clocks to adjust.
The TwinTec S4 will not waste water by regenerating when you are not at home. Regeneration only occurs when more softened water is required, so there is no wasted water usage.
The system meters the volume of water coming into your home so knows when to clean itself.
Block Salt Refill Technology
Block salt, easy to store and handle.
Block salt is easy to load so that you don't have to manage heavy and messy bags of salt.
The specially manufactured salt blocks have been created to work with the S4 and make it as efficient as possible. By ensuring that the salt lasts longer the softener only regenerates when it needs to, rather than on a daily timer like other systems.
When salt needs to be topped up there is a red line that is visible through the clear lid design, which makes it easy for you to be aware.
Compact and Stylish Design
Small, simple and stylish design; specially designed to be compact so that it easily fits under a kitchen sink.
Large water capacity is suitable for a home with 1-10 people; a larger version is available if more capacity is required.
